President and Co-Founder
Carmella Kletjian is Managing Director of SCK Enterprise, LLC; President of CRK Boston Properties LLC; and Manager of JV Arcail Spain Real Estate. She is the Founding Director of the Stephen C. and Carmella R. Kletjian Foundation Inc. The Kletjian Foundation is dedicated to impacting lives by supporting sustainable and innovative global health and educational initiatives.
She is a former nurse anesthetist, with her career including teaching in a registered diploma program and research in Neuroleptanesthesia. Carmella received her Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist’s certification in Anesthesiology from Montefiore Hospital/University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Babson College, and is a member of the Harvard Medical School Global Health and Service Advisory Council. She also serves on the boards of the American Agora Foundation, the Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Protocol Advisors, Inc., and the National Civility Foundation.
As founder of the Kletjian Foundation, Carmella also actively supports a variety of philanthropic activities, including Babson College, Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and HUGS Foundation of Rochester, New York. She is deeply committed to supporting people globally for whom safe surgery is not accessible, working towards developing systems to improve practical clinical skills, process analysis, and policy initiatives.
